Loud Shirt Day

Loud Shirt Day held on Friday September 21, 2012 is the annual appeal to support deaf kids.

Who has inspired you in the London Olympic Games?  The amazing students from Room 8 have created a movie inspired by the Olympic creed : "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well."

Go for Gold! is the title of our topic study on the 2012 Olympic games.  We are so excited and can't wait to see the opening ceremony of the games.  Have a look at our display board - It's pretty amazing!

Happy New Year Everyone! School has started here in New Zealand and Room 8 has some new faces and some faces you would of recognized from last year.
